In my mind, the idea of genetically selected babies is wrong. (A) Parent(s) is/are selecting of what they want their child to consist. Sure, it may be for medical purposes, but by picking the "best fit" baby for life, one is denying another embryo the chance to live. If the embryo dies due to something after conception, and it does not develop, that is due to natural reasons. It is not because of a scientist. Doing this messes with the natural order of life. It is not natural selection. By doing this, it COULD (not will) cause a change or a population shift in all organisms on Earth if more and more people start doing this.
If the baby is created for medical reasons to save an already born sibling, it is possible for the parents to not necessarily love that child. They may have had the baby just for the fact that is could save their older child.

Our Fake Convo
Gary: Kyle, I seriously do not believe the Holocaust ever occurred.
Me: How? How can you not believe it happened?
Gary: I wasn't there. A lot of people in my neighborhood are saying it never happened. They are relatives of German soldiers and SS soldiers, and they all say it never happened. It couldn't have happened because no person or group of people could be that horrid.
Me: You have to see it clearly happened. Look at the evidence. There are first-hand accounts of happenings in the concentration camps. All the survivors, they all say many of the same things, and they DO NOT KNOW EACH OTHER!
Gary: Still . . . I'm not necessarily convinced.
Me: Gary, come on. Think with me here.
Gary: Okay.
Me: Look at all the concentration camps that existed. Look at all the stuff the German soldiers had destroyed. They want to deny it ever happened. They do not want people knowing the truth. The Jewish people who survived WANT us to know, and a lot of Germans are swearing up and down that the Holocaust is a lie! Tehre are ruins from the camps left over. There is evidence left in the camps; old crematoriums, gas champers, graves, suitcases, HAIR, and so much more. All of the evidence points directly to the Holocaust being a true happening many years ago.
Gary: Wow. I never really look at it like that. I guess you are right. My relatives are wrong. I do now believe the Holocaust was real.
